Rage

Ben Harris Rapidly becoming one of my favourite noise albums.
Although the seven tracks on this have their own marks of distinction, they are similarly amelodic enough to give the appreciative noise fan the impression that the album documents one long almost geological sounding upheaval of sound texture and sinister resonances.
Goddamn awesome stuff that projects a sense of creeping dread in lieu of Jonathan's arguably more famous and brutal output as Deathpile. Favorite track: IV.

about

The first cult recordings from this Deathpile side-project, originally released on tape back in 1997 on Labyrinth / Circle Of Shit and reissued on CDr in 2004 on Stridulum.

This digital version has now been made available by Jonathan Canady, from his own master recordings, for the fans that missed out on the original releases.
